Webinar: Service and Resource Sharing Approaches – Focus on the Public Health Workforce

Public health transformation efforts, supported in part by the CDC’s Public Health Infrastructure Grant (PHIG), provide an important platform for needed improvements and innovations across public health systems. Service and resource sharing is a tool that can maximize available resources between departments and across systems, enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of Foundational Public Health Services delivery, and better prepare health departments to meet accreditation standards.

On April 9th at 1PM ET, join the Public Health Accreditation Board’s (PHAB) Center for Innovation for a live 60-minute webinar that will focus on service and resource sharing approaches addressing common public health workforce challenges, like capacity building including recruitment, retention, pipelines, and succession planning; training and expertise in organizational competencies and diversity, equity, and inclusion; and rebuilding trust with the public, among others. Participants will hear examples from 21st Century States and other health departments that center the Foundational Capabilities and will have space to connect on their own needs related to the public health workforce.
