PH-LIFT (Leveraging Infrastructure for Transformation) aggregates, harmonizes, and visualizes public health infrastructure data, empowering health departments (HDs) to take action and access resources like peer learning, technical assistance, and training. A product of the Public Health Accreditation Board and funded by the CDC Public Health Infrastructure Grant (PHIG) Program, PH-LIFT establishes a data governance framework for synthesizing and sharing public health infrastructure data.

Key Features of PH-LIFT

  • Aggregation and Harmonization: PH-LIFT aggregates data on public health infrastructure, including the delivery of the Foundational Public Health Services from various sources.
  • Visualization and Reporting: PH-LIFT provides visualizations and reports to help HDs understand their baseline and identify areas for improvement.
  • Access to Resources: PH-LIFT empowers HDs with resources such as peer learning, technical assistance, and training.
  • Equity-Centered Design: PH-LIFT centers and promotes equity to ensure it meets the diverse needs of its users.

How does it work?

Benefits of PH-LIFT

PH-LIFT is a way to gain insight into public health infrastructure and how it changes over time. The platformwill support HDs to:

  • Highlight gaps and areas for opportunities

  • Justify funding and resources needs
  • Identify actions needed to transform governmental public health

PH-LIFT will launch in Fall 2024.
